※ Material Features
Outstanding Weather Resistance: EPDM membrane is designed to handle extreme temperatures, from freezing cold to intense heat, without compromising its integrity. Its ability to resist cracking and shrinking makes it a reliable option in harsh climates.
Superior Elasticity: With over 300% elongation capacity, EPDM membrane stretches and adapts to substrate movements, preventing leaks even in dynamic building structures. This elasticity ensures long-lasting protection and reduces the risk of tearing over time.
UV and Ozone Resistance: EPDM is known for its exceptional resistance to UV radiation and ozone exposure, which helps extend its lifespan and maintain its waterproofing capabilities even after years of sun exposure.
Chemical and Puncture Resistance: The membrane is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including acids and alkalis, ensuring that it remains functional in industrial environments. Its high puncture resistance provides extra protection against physical damage.
Eco-friendly and Sustainable: EPDM is a recyclable material, contributing to eco-friendly building practices. Its long lifespan reduces the need for frequent replacements, minimizing waste and lowering the environmental impact of construction projects.
※ Application
Roofing Systems: EPDM waterproof membrane is an excellent choice for flat or low-slope roofs, providing seamless and reliable waterproofing for residential and commercial buildings.
Basement Waterproofing: Prevent moisture ingress and water damage in underground structures such as basements and cellars by using EPDM membrane for a watertight barrier.
Tunnels and Bridges: The flexibility and durability of EPDM make it perfect for waterproofing infrastructure such as tunnels, bridges, and other transportation structures.
Ponds and Water Features: EPDM membrane is also widely used in artificial ponds and reservoirs due to its ability to resist water and adapt to irregular surfaces.
Installation and Maintenance
EPDM Waterproof Membrane can be installed using mechanical fastening, adhesive bonding, or as a ballasted system, depending on the project requirements. It is available in large sheets to minimize seams, which enhances its overall waterproofing performance. Maintenance is minimal, as the membrane's durable properties ensure longevity, often lasting over 50 years with proper care.

※ Storage and Transport
Storage Guidelines
Cool, Dry Environment: Store EPDM membranes in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space, away from direct sunlight, rain, or extreme temperatures. Excessive heat or prolonged UV exposure can degrade the material, leading to reduced flexibility and waterproofing effectiveness.
Temperature Control: Ideally, keep the storage temperature between 5°C to 30°C. Extremely high or low temperatures can affect the membrane’s physical properties, making it more prone to cracking or deformation.
Avoid Heavy Stacking: To prevent creasing or puncturing, avoid placing heavy objects on top of the rolled-up membranes. Stacking should be done carefully to avoid compressing the material. If multiple rolls need to be stored, stack them horizontally and no more than three rolls high.
Protect from Sharp Objects: Ensure that the storage area is free from sharp objects or edges that could puncture or tear the membrane. Always keep the rolls in their original packaging until ready for use to provide an additional layer of protection.
Keep Away from Chemicals: Store EPDM membranes away from corrosive chemicals, solvents, or petroleum-based products that could compromise the membrane's integrity.
Transport Guidelines
Secure Packaging: When transporting EPDM Waterproof Membrane, make sure that the rolls are tightly packed and secured to avoid movement during transit. Loose rolls may shift and become damaged, especially if exposed to impact or rough handling.
Proper Loading: Use proper loading techniques to avoid crushing or bending the rolls. Avoid using sharp or heavy equipment that might damage the membranes during loading or unloading.
Protection from Elements: If the membranes are being transported over long distances or in open-air vehicles, ensure they are covered to protect against rain, snow, and prolonged sunlight exposure.
Gentle Handling: During unloading, handle the rolls with care to prevent dropping or dragging them on rough surfaces, which could cause tears, punctures, or deformation.
Inspect After Transport: After delivery, inspect the rolls for any signs of damage before storage or installation. This helps identify any issues early and ensures only undamaged materials are used for waterproofing.
