• Drying: Ensure the surface is completely dry before application. Ideal conditions are when the temperature is between 10°C and 30°C (50°F to 86°F).

• Repair: Fill in any cracks or holes with a suitable repair compound. The surface should be smooth and uniform to promote even application.

2. Environmental Conditions

The environment plays a significant role in the effectiveness and durability of the sealer:

• Temperature Range: Apply the sealer when temperatures are between 10°C and 30°C. Avoid application in freezing conditions or when rain is expected within 24 hours.

• Humidity Levels: Ideal humidity levels are between 30% and 70%. High humidity can prolong drying times, while low humidity may cause rapid evaporation and affect curing.

3. Application Process

For effective sealing, follow these guidelines:

• Mixing: Stir the sealer thoroughly before use to ensure uniform consistency. If using a large quantity, mechanical mixing is recommended.

• Application Tools: Depending on the size of the area, the sealer can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray equipment. Ensure even coverage for the best results.

• Layer Thickness: Apply the sealer in a uniform thickness of approximately 1-3 mm. For porous surfaces, consider applying a second coat after the first has dried.

4. Curing Time

• Foot Traffic: Light foot traffic can be allowed after 24-48 hours, depending on temperature and humidity levels.

• Full Protection: Optimal waterproofing protection is achieved after 72 hours.

5. Safety Measures

Ensure a safe working environment during application:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear gloves, goggles, and a mask to protect against chemical exposure.

• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in enclosed areas, to prevent the buildup of fumes.

• Storage: Store the sealer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the container sealed when not in use.

6. Maintenance and Reapplication

To maintain optimal performance, regular inspection and maintenance are necessary:
